What it will run on

I pick the tool to fit your operation, not the other way round. I can run the automation on a server of your own, so the data never has to leave the company. Where an off-the-shelf platform does not reach, I write a script for it. And when a simpler and cheaper route would do, I will say so.

A smaller automation usually goes live within a few weeks; for a more complex one, count on a month. You get the deadline from the analysis, before I start building.

01What if we have an old system that data is hard to get out of?

It usually still works. Data can be taken from exports, from email or through browser automation. In the consultation I will look at what your system can do and tell you whether it makes sense.

02Will we have to change the tools we use?

No. I start from what you already have. I only propose replacing a tool when the saving is clearly bigger than the cost of switching.

03How many hours a week will it actually save?

It depends on the process. With manual data retyping it tends to be a few hours a week. You get a concrete estimate in the analysis; anything earlier would be a number out of thin air.

04What happens when an automation stops working?

I build automations so that a failure is reported and no data is swallowed quietly. On top of that I offer optional support, where I watch the running system and handle changes.
